Happy weekend!
My house is oddly quiet at the moment. 3/4 of my kids are with a cousin, out of town, and with their daddy. The 2 year old is asleep.
I'm taking a moment to check in and share 5 of my favorites on the interweb.
School starts next week, and I have a feeling that the peaches are about done for the season. It's that time of year. Bittersweet.

Have a look at Gretchen Rubin's New York apartment. I love it.

i just bookmarked the chicken recipe and will try it. And I love the clutter blog. We use cloth napkins almost all the time. Maybe because it's just the two of us, but we reuse them for a few meals and then just throw in the machine. It adds a nice touch! (We are with you on eating by candlelight and we use the good silver. It makes for a lovely meal.).
ReplyDeleteI love the links and thoughts on clutter and boundaries and their following rules! It’s helpful to think about these things as school and schedules return. And, from 1 momma of 4 to another, cloth napkins are so easy! We use them exclusively. I have prob 40, mostly polly blend-so they come clean easily. Ease into it, using cloth for dinner only for a while. And if folding is overwhelming, throw them in a basket and have a child put them through rings for dinner. (And cotton bandanas on clearance at Walmart make cheap pretty napkins too!)
ReplyDeleteI love your blog-always full of useful and beautiful info! Keep it up!
